LA is one hell of a place, that’s for damn sure. For the past few years the Wolfpack Hustle, one of LA’s most reputable and gnarly cycling crews, has been holding midnight drag races in the 2nd street tunnel in Down Town. You know the tunnel, the rad white one in Blade Runner and also about a billion other movies.

This year’s midnight drag races got the tunnel shut off from automobile traffic so the races could be way more official and it could be an event, gathering all sorts of people from all over the city.

It was a super fun event! I got to see some of my friends I have been making and bumping into at smaller cycling events. Events like these remaining super calm, warm, and social, fill me with hope and anticipation as I see LA becoming one of the premiere bike cities in the US. I know a lot of people don’t agree with me and might not be able to see it but in my eyes that’s the direction all this is going. I can’t imagine what’s next.
