Today was the Fortune 700 bike race at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA. I have school from 9:00 – 4:00 on Saturdays so I had to miss the race. After class I got right on my bike and blasted down to the after party at. BNIB was there going strong with the Los Angeles Shoe Truck, their mobile store. I made friends with some new local riders I can’t wait to get out and ride with. I also met Jeff from Vaux Lifestyles, a really cool looking company I’m going to go visit within the next few weeks and do a proper write up for. I really feel independent sport apparel companies with quality I saw in the products Vaux brought are what I want in cycling gear. It makes such a difference to me when the gear is made by cyclists for cyclists.
That sweet ass Geekhouse track bike? That belongs to a new friend of mine, John. I lost my shit when I saw that one. Easily the bike of the night. Well done John, you and I need to go play in traffic soon.
